Redmi K30

The new Xiaomi Redmi K30 will be supporting 5G and 120Hz refresh rate. It will also be the first Redmi Smartphone featuring 5G support. Earlier leaks had revealed that K30 would have a dual-selfie cutout on the front, and the live photos which have surfaced now feature the dual-selfie cutout and provide information on the specifications of this much-anticipated device. CEO Lei Jun had recently confirmed that Redmi K30 will be launching this December which would be followed by the launch of the Pro variant in 2020. It will have a 6.6-inch FHD+ display and a tall aspect ratio. The screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is a definite upgrade in terms of display quality. But this could be taxing on the battery performance and so there is an option in the settings to lower the refresh rate to 60Hz. The GPU is Adreno 618 and so it would be either Snapdragon 730 or the Snapdragon 730G processor. Besides this, Redmi K30 will be running on MIUI 11 version 9.11.18. It would be having 64GB storage space but details about RAM or the battery hasn’t be revealed. The phone would definitely be on the high-end phone list and it certainly sports the features to be competing with other high-end commercial phones. It definitely has that premium phone look with its edges and the dual-selfie cut out on the top left corner. As December is only a week away, the phone and more details would be out soon. Among other exciting releases, Xiaomi is certainly ending this year with a great lineup and it would seemingly have an equally pleasing if not better year in 2020.
